Great article which I found really fascinating. In my view but and unfortunatley so, the greatest technique to clean window blinds is to take them down and give them a sponge bath in the shower using pinesol or lysol or something along those lines. any kind of cleaner will be okay.

I also like the look when you let about four inches “puddle” at the bottom along the floor. Just have to keep the floor vacuumed so they don’t get dirty, but it works well with very dramatic windows and/or fabric. Fringe also can dress up ordinary drapes and it’s a fairly easy item to add yourself, depending on the stiching already in place.
